Laura Watmough, herself a well-known Alberta artists, saw the need to make interaction with the artists a part of the essential experience to enable the full enjoyment of the artwork
“We invite our patrons to witness and participate in the creative process of our dynamic artists. Spot Light Fine art gallery host regular events in which the artist is invited to create off site or on location in the gallery enabling patrons to get a first hand glimpse into the creative process and ask questions that they may not have had an opportunity to ask an artist. We are also pleased to introduce ‘hidden talent’ to our discriminating clients. These are new artists that are in the early to mid career and offer our clients an opportunity to be on the ground floor of an artist’s career.”
